Welcome

KHHS is a new business to Kapiti, we are a small friendly team that can help you with almost any problem around your house or garden, new development or lifestyle block.

We have a large network of contractors for those bigger projects and can project manage the development of new properties, overseeing the construction of building platforms, roading and service installation, drainage and compliance with consent regulations.

We can build retaining walls to maximise usable surface area, and combine with clever planting to create extra space, without extra maintenance.

Fencing

Whether you need a fence for privacy, security, to keep pets in [or the neighbours out], or to create a safe secure play area for children. We can custom build to suit the style of your property, we can also source and install the gates of your choice, auto closing and remote opening options available.

Decking

Everybody enjoys a good deck, whether for the BBQ or just to relax on the deck chair. We also construct verandahs and pergolas to create great all-weather outdoor spaces. We can combine with retaining walls and raised flowerbeds or boxes to create a stylish and functional easy care areas.

We have an extensive network of nurseries. We specialise in NZ natives but can also source a huge range of exotic and sub tropical plants.

General Landscaping

We can assess your property and design to suit your needs, or implement your design to the highest quality standard. We can build driveways or garden paths, and patios etc.

Tree removals

Unfortunately some trees out grow their surroundings and have negative impacts or even safety risks. We can assess your trees for safety and prune or remove if required.
Sometimes it is the neighbour’s trees that are causing the problem, we are fully aware of your legal rights and obligations in regard to trimming them off your property.

Handyman Services

We can repair or replace almost anything, from changing the locks, or replacing weatherboards and doors, to renewing your spouting, or constructing a lean-to or wood shed.
We can also construct play houses or a play area for the children, garden beds and sheds.
We can install irrigation for the long hot Kapiti summers, or install drainage if your property is wet or low lying.

About Me

I’ve been owner operator and project manager in the development of properties for over 13 years, both for resale and rental purposes. I have an ability to see what a property could become, and how to maximise its value for minimal cost.

Originally from the South Island, I made Kapiti my home seven years ago where I live with my partner and two little girls. In addition to my property development work, my background also includes major earthworks and logging operations.
